Health Insurance Covers Acupucnture

*Call your customer service number on your insurance card. Ask if your benefits pay for acupuncture performed by a Licensed Acupuncturist and if Anoka Massage and Pain Therapy is in network for your plan.

Typically you do not need a doctor’s referral. If your insurance covers your acupuncture treatments, we will bill the insurance company for you.

If you have been injured in an auto accident, your auto insurance will pay for massage and/or acupuncture. Typically you do not need a doctor’s referral. Call us to set up an appointment. We will bill the insurance company directly.

Auto Insurance and Health Insurance is billed per unit at a rate of $53 for massage and $75/40 for acupuncture. These rates include medical billing, reports, electronic insurance billing, diagnostic coding, administration fees, interfacing with other medical providers, communications with insurance companies and attorneys and collection.
